Today we have more resources, more technology, more forms of communication, and more options at our fingertips to help spread the Gospel than ever before. But right now, there are also more unsaved people living on the earth than at any other time in history. At least 2/3 of the population does not know Jesus Christ as their Savior. That’s more than 4 billion people.

Four billion who would not go to heaven if they died today. Four billion who need to be told the truth about Jesus Christ and His love for them. The question is, who’s going to tell them?

In the church today, we frequently speak of needing “revival.” That’s good, but perhaps we have drifted so far from the true heart of God that reviving what exists won’t get the job done. I believe we need more….

I believe we need a Love Revolution. A revolution doesn’t just try to stir up what’s already there…a revolution brings complete change. Read the rest of this entry »

January 6th, 2009Change Your World

Perhaps greater than any other time in history, we live in a world that is desperately crying out for help.

It’s a world where more than 1 billion people live on less than $1 a day…a world where diseases such as AIDS are taking the lives of young and old alike at an alarming rate…a world where nearly 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes every day.

We live in a world that needs Jesus.

And because we do, we are more passionate and committed than ever to help as many people as possible. Through Hand of Hope, Joyce Meyer Ministries world missions, we want to relieve as much human suffering as we can with the time and resources available to us.

Is Missions Mentioned in the Bible?
We use the term missions quite a bit, but this word is never actually mentioned in the Bible.

Missions comes from a Medieval Latin word meaning “a task assigned; an act of sending.” And this is exactly what Jesus did before His ascension into heaven. Read the rest of this entry »

Joyce Meyer
During my childhood I was abused sexually, emotionally, verbally and physically. Many of you have also been abused, or you deal with someone in your life who comes from an abusive, dysfunctional background.

What does abuse mean? It means “to misuse, to use improperly, to use up or to injure by maltreatment.” The effects of abuse can be devastating and long-lasting. Many people never recover from it. Let me give you a brief definition of the four types of abuse.

March 20th, 2008Joyce Meyer - Biographie

Meyer was born in the O’Fallon neighborhood in north St. Louis in 1943, and still speaks with a working-class St. Louis accent. Her father went into the Army to fight in World War II soon after she was born. Meyer has said in interviews that he began molesting her upon his return. She often talks about her experience in her meetings.[1]

A graduate of O’Fallon Technical High School in St. Louis, she married a part-time car salesman shortly after her senior year of high school. The marriage lasted five years. She maintains that he frequently cheated on her and persuaded her to steal payroll checks from her employer. They used the money to go on a vacation to California; she claims to have returned the money years later.[1] After her divorce, Meyer frequented local bars before meeting Dave Meyer, an engineering draftsman. They celebrated their 40th anniversary in 2007. Read the rest of this entry »

The wicked borrow and pay not again [for they may be unable], but the [uncompromisingly] righteous deal kindly and give [for they are able].
—Psalm 37:21

Take chances today and invest in someone else’s life, especially if God tells you to do so. You may give them something of value only to learn they waste it as they have always done in the past. But remember that God made an investment in you, and He wants you to be willing to make an investment in somebody else. Read the rest of this entry »

Keep the charge of the Lord your God, walk in His ways, keep His statutes, His commandments, His precepts, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may do wisely and prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.
—1 Kings 2:3

When you pray, wait for the Lord. This means to look for, to expect, and to hope in God. This isn’t a passive state of mind, but one of expectancy. Read the rest of this entry »

All we have felt disappointed at some moment, in fact, it would be rare that we spend Joyce Meyerone week without experiencing some type of downheart. The Christians are many go by the life devastated. That happens because they have not learned to fight with the problem.

The will of God is that one alive today neither any other day, discouraged, devastated or pressed. When one resists to the devil Dog soon begins to feel loss of heart and learns to put its Hope and confidence in Jesus, one can live in its peace and joy leaves from the Read the rest of this entry »
